| Quick Notes
|
The Roadway Maintenance Division coordinates and supervises the maintenance of 2,500 miles of county roads. The work is accomplished by six maintenance units, each responsible for a specific area of the county. The division also coordinates maintenance for bridges and road drainage systems throughout the county road network.
This division also oversees the Litter Hotline - a number established so that citizens can report litter on county rights-of-way. County personnel are available during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to answer the hotline (a message can be left after hours). The number to call is 863-534-0282. If Bartow is long distance, citizens can call 1-877-891-6430. |
