The Traffic Engineering and Operations Division consists of the key program areas, Administration, Operations, and Studies.  The Operations Sections coordinates the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of all traffic control and informational signs, including striping, on county roads. It also installs and maintains electronic traffic control devices on the county road system, and on several systems for municipalities and the state Department of Transportation. The Traffic Studies Section performs all studies that are necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the county road system.
