Vendor/Partner Registration
The Polk County Emergency Management Division invites you to participate in the
Annual Hurricane Expo at the Winter Haven, Orange Dome and Chain O'Lakes
Complex on June 5, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Expo will enable Polk County Citizens to be educated and prepared for exposure
to all potential hazards. Your agency has proven to be an invaluable resource for
Polk County citizens who are preparing for, responding to, or recovering from a
disaster. From vendors we are suggesting a donation of $25.00 per table (check made
payable to Polk County BOCC). In addition, we are asking that vendors supply a door
prize valued at $25.00. County and non-profit agencies will be allotted one table at no charge.
In order to include your agency in pre-event promotions, we also ask that you register
using the online vendor application no later than May 14, 2010. Please make all checks payable to Polk County BoCC
Please note that some booths have electricity available, which are reserved on a
first-come first-served preregistration requirement. If you request an outside booth/table,
plan to provide you own tent or shade and lots of sunscreen.
Food will be available for vendors and participants from our Polk County Fire Union
grill, menu will consist of hamburgers and hot dogs. All money raised will go toward
purchasing smoke alarms for our Project Safe Home Project.
In addition to your vendor booth, the event will include: training sessions, children's
activities, public safety demonstrations, and much more. Since the purpose of our
Expo is to educate our citizens, it is imperative that you participate with an educational
objective in mind.

Registration Form
There will be five category types of Partners. The Partner categories are as follows:
- Category 1: $100
- Booth with one (1) table and two (2) chairs.
- Company name in the Hurricane Expo "entertainment guide" given to all attendees
as they enter the expo
- Sponsor Name on 1 sign (on property day of event )
- Recognition on the Polk County Emergency Management Hurricane Expo Website.
- Choice of prime booth location (inside or outside)
- Category 2: $200
- Booth with one (1) table and two (2) chairs.
- Company name in the Hurricane Expo "entertainment guide" given to all attendees
as they enter the expo
- Sponsor Name on 2 signs (on property day of event )
- Company Banner displayed during event
- Recognition on the Polk County Emergency Management Hurricane Expo Website.
- Choice of prime booth location (inside or outside)
- Category 3: $300

Television (PGTV)

- Sponsor Name on 4 signs (on property day of event)
- Company Banner displayed during event

- Booth with three (3) tables and six (6) chairs.
- An opportunity for your company to help promote the Hurricane Expo on Polk's Government
Television (PGTV)
